Suzette Laurent – Attorney at Law

Born in Havana, Cuba, Suzette Laurent relocated to Miami, Florida at the age of 14, beginning a new chapter in a diverse and dynamic city. Her early experiences in Miami shaped her appreciation for the community and influenced her approach to legal service.

Academic and Professional Background

Suzette began her higher education at Miami-Dade Community College, earning an Associate of Arts degree, followed by a Bachelor’s Degree from Barry University. She later earned her Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law, where she graduated in the top 25 percent of her class.

In addition to her legal education, Suzette is a licensed real estate agent and a certified pro bono Guardian ad Litem. She is also an active member of the Consortium for a Healthier Miami-Dade, reflecting her interest in community health and advocacy.
