Maybel Castellon, Esq.

Originally from Havana Cuba, Maybel Castellon studied Law at the University of Havana. Practicing law has always been her passion and helping immigrants with their legal needs, one of her purposes in life. Ms. Castellon immigrated to Miami, Florida at the age of 21, where she pursued her legal studies. Ms. Castellon graduated with Honors from Florida International University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. During the pursuit of her degree, Ms. Castellon obtained her Real Estate License and gained vast experience in that field.

Ms. Castellon further her legal education by obtaining a Juris Doctorate Degree from Shepard Broad College of Law at Nova Southeastern University. While attending law school Ms. Castellon owned and managed D & D Insurance Company and actively practice Real Estate.  Ms. Castellon was admitted to practice law in Florida in 2015. Following her admission to the bar Ms. Castellon has practiced in the areas  of Real Estate, Family Law, Civil Litigation and Immigration. Her case management strategy focuses on providing client centric service in order to move files to resolution as quickly and cost effectively as possible. Over the last 6 years, Ms. Castellon experience has taught her that the best way to achieve successful results is to listen to and work closely with clients. When Ms. Castellon is not advocating on behalf of her clients, she is enjoying life with her husband and her two little boys.

Suzette Laurent, Esq.

Ms. Laurent was born in Havana, Cuba. She moved to Miami at the age of 14 and has resided in Miami, Florida since. Ms. Laurent began her collegiate studies at Miami-Dade Community College, where she obtained an AA degree. Later on, Ms. Laurent received a Bachelor’s Degree from Barry University and then attended Nova Southeastern University School of Law, where she obtained a Juris Doctorate cum laude in law and secured a position in the top 25 percent of her class. Ms. Laurent is a licensed real estate agent, a certified pro bono guardian ad litem, and a member of the Consortium for a Healthier Miami Dade.

Ms. Laurent is dedicated to providing individualized services to her clients with competence and utmost integrity. She practices in the areas of family law, estate planning, real estate and contract litigation, just to name a few. Ms. Laurent is fluent in both English and Spanish. Her commitment to fulfill her clients’ expectations is shown by her unique, efficient and economical approach to each of her cases.

Miriam Schlesinger, Esq.

Miriam Schlesinger graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Juris Doctorate in 2014. Ms. Schlesinger graduated Cum Laude, top 25 percent of her class, and made the dean’s list for multiple semesters. During law school, Ms. Schlesinger completed several law workshops in civil pretrial and mediation—all experience she incorporates into practice.

Ms. Schlesinger was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2014. She has considerable experience in the areas of family law and estate planning. This translates into her ability to help you with all your legal needs in such areas. She will be your zealous advocate. Ms. Schlesinger always has enjoyed volunteering and became a certified guardian ad-litem for the dependency court.

Kenneth Ejene, Esq.

Attorney Kenneth Ejene was born and raised in Miami, Florida to parents who immigrated to the United States from Nigeria. His parents, family, friends, mentors and colleagues have been instrumental in his personal, educational, and professional growth and development. Their influence and the relationships that he has cultivated has proven monumental in his personable and empathetic approach when interacting with clients. He is also able to easily show compassion and understanding of the client’s issues and work efficiently and rationally in a manner to assist in coming to an effective resolution to their case. Additionally, Ken is passionate about serving. While earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Florida Atlantic University (FAU) in Boca Raton, Florida, he was the longest tenured member of the Boca Raton campus of the House of Representatives and served as the Committee Chairman of the Campus Action Committee. 

Upon graduating from FAU, he became a member of the illustrious fraternity, Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity incorporated, joining through the Beta Beta Lambda chapter in Miami, Florida. As a member, he eagerly served the community through community clean ups, mentorship, scholarship funds, voter registration, March for Babies, the American Cancer Association and various other initiatives. Ken then earned his Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law (Barry) in Orlando, Florida. While attending Barry, he earned an Honors Litigation Certificate and offered participated in offering free legal assistance to indigent residents in the Central Florida area through one of Barry’s law clinics and as a volunteer and intern. Some of the legal clinics and organizations Ken has participated in included the Collaborative Family Law Clinic, the Orange County Court as a County Mediator, the Pro Bono Project, Black Law Student Association and the Innovative Community Engagement Foundation as first a Fellow and then serving as the Director of the Orlando Chapter, post-graduation. As chairman, he orchestrated back pack drives, reading to children, turkey drives, clothing drives, mentorship and more. 

Ken’s passion for service and genuine love for helping people as their advocate, aides him well in his practice of the law. He strives to continually grow his career so that he leaves a lasting positive impact on his clients and the community at large, just as the people who have been a positive influence in his successes has been for him.
